The production process in vulcanization.
These soles are made by injection process using thermoplastic Tpu. This material assures high abrasion resistance, high tear resistance, excellent mould reproduction, very good shining/mate effect.
Like rubber it can also be antistatic and ESD, and its excellent properties, make it usable also for safety footwear production.

These soles are produced in injected thermoplastic rubber, this is the simplest raw material to transform, one of the features is short demold time, therefore with higher production rates either in single as in multiple colour soles. Tr can easily be combined in the injection process with other aesthetic materials for instance to add a veneer or a welt feature.
Sole production with Pvc is progressively being reduced.
It is normally associated with environmental and health problems, in spite that today it can be synthesized as a perfectly harmless raw material to people or to the environment. It has higher density, that's why normally Pvc soles are heavier than soles produced upon other materials. One of the advantages of Pvc it's the oil resistance feature, that's why in former times it was used to produced oil resistant soles.
Polyurethane is an extremely versatile material, it allows to be set in different hardness, different touch feeling and as it is a reticulated product it normally presents a lower density creating extremely light and comfortable soles.
It has excellent absorption and dimensional memory (very good compression set), that's why it is used also for insole production. Teco uses this material not only for unit sole production but also be combined with other materials like rubber or Tpu creating composed soles which represent the best compromise to the user.
Rubber / pu soles
These soles represent the association between comfort, absorption and excellent thermal properties of the Pu, together with the good contact properties of the rubber.
We can produce normal soles for casual use as well as those compatible with the most demanding soles for safety footwear. This combination is also adequate for trekking and outdoor soles, contributing with comfort and durability. These soles are produced by direct casting in the carrousel machine.
TPU / Pu soles
This represents another possible raw material association where de comfort from the polyurethane is put together with the features of the Tpu, extremely high abrasion resistance. The abrasion resistance allows working with lower outsole thicknesses creating lighter and aesthetically interesting soles.
Double density pu soles
Soles produced entirely in polyurethane but using the material versatility implying different densities, different hardness and mechanical properties in order to obtain with the same material an amalgam of properties which in the end complement the soles characteristics.
These soles are normally produced with double injection in the carrousel machine.
The main advantage regarding other types of composed soles is the reduction in weight.
Mixed material soles

That's why we've created an all new concept, broadening these possibilities and gathering materials without any limitation, design restriction and really putting together the best of several worlds.
These soles are built without limits to your imagination and creativity and discovering a new set of possibilities and perspectives. This may include the different individual elements like outsoles, middle soles, spoilers, toe caps, comfort elements technical features pieces, among others.
These soles are actually produced using the complete set of raw materials Teco works with like, polyurethane, rubber, Tpu and technical polymers, potentiating each one's role in relation with the properties of the raw material it is produced upon.
We've soon realized that our expertise putting together different materials should also be offered to our clients producing shoes by direct injection.
It became then evident that there is a need for outsoles for direct injection system, with added value capable at the same time do differentiate their product.
